Today at Beyondia International School Kashiwanoha, our Kinder class spent the day diving into the world of numbers through hands-on exploration and creativity. The theme of the day was\u00a0\u201cNumbers\u201d<\/strong>, and students rotated through three exciting learning stations that made math both meaningful and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Reading Corner<\/strong>\/ \u8aad\u307f\u805e\u304b\u305b\u30b3\u30fc\u30ca\u30fc
At the reading station, children explored books centered on numbers and counting. This activity helped strengthen their number recognition and comprehension skills while building a love for math-themed stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Addition Station<\/strong>\/ \u8db3\u3057\u7b97\u30b9\u30c6\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3
In this station, we introduced basic addition using cards with two numbers. Children used blocks to find the total and enjoyed constructing creative structures as they worked out their answers. It was wonderful to see them thinking critically while having fun with materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Koinobori Themed Counting & Number Building<\/strong>\/ \u3053\u3044\u306e\u307c\u308a\u3092\u4f7f\u3063\u305f\u6570\u3042\u305d\u3073\uff06\u6570\u5b57\u3065\u304f\u308a
To connect with the upcoming seasonal celebration, we incorporated a cultural element through koi fish. First, children counted the number of koi and wrote the correct number. Then, they used building blocks to construct numbers from 1 to 10. These activities supported both fine motor skills and numerical understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
