For many of our Nursery and Pre class students, this was their very first time experiencing the start of summer alongside the gentle rains. We embraced the weather with themed crafts, sensory activities, and classic songs like \u201cRain, Rain, Go Away.\u201d<\/em> These fun and engaging lessons helped children connect with the changing season while building their language and social skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer is an exciting time for young children at Beyondia International Nursery School! As June arrived, so did Japan\u2019s rainy season, giving our little learners the chance to explore a whole new world of seasonal activities and discoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While rainy days and hot weather limited our outdoor walks, we made the most of our time indoors. Children enjoyed active movement games, dancing sessions, and calm table play. When the sun peeked out, we eagerly explored the outdoors, observing summer flowers, insects, and the changes in nature that come with the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afternoons were filled with storytelling, rainy day games, and imaginative play. One highlight was dancing under a large umbrella, pretending to splash in the rain. Our creative time also included painting and hands-on crafts that encouraged expression and fine motor development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
