A Special Tanabata Celebration | 七夕を楽しんだ特別な一日

Our Nursery and Pre children enjoyed a wonderful Tanabata celebration filled with smiles, laughter, and opportunities to experience Japanese culture.

Dressed in colorful yukatas and jinbei, the children were excited from the moment they arrived at school. It was a joyful day full of seasonal traditions, fun activities, and memorable experiences with their friends.

Nursery・Preクラスの子どもたちは、七夕イベントを楽しみました。

色とりどりの浴衣や甚平を着て登園し、朝から特別な雰囲気の中で、季節ならではの行事を満喫しました。お友だちと一緒に笑顔あふれる一日を過ごすことができました。

Festival Games and Bon Odori | 盆踊りと夏祭り遊び

The celebration began with Bon Odori, followed by traditional festival games.

The children enjoyed duck scooping and yo-yo fishing while practicing taking turns and encouraging one another. Through these hands-on activities, they experienced the excitement of a traditional Japanese summer festival in a fun and engaging way.

イベントでは、みんなで盆踊りを踊ったあと、夏祭りならではのゲームを楽しみました。

アヒルすくいやヨーヨー釣りに挑戦し、順番を待ったり、お友だちを応援したりしながら、日本の夏ならではの遊びを思い切り楽しむ姿が見られました。

Visiting the Kinder Festival | キンダークラスの夏祭りへ

In the afternoon, the Nursery and Pre children visited the festival prepared by the Kinder class.

They exchanged tickets for candy apples, shaved ice, chocolate bananas, fishing games, and yo-yo fishing while practicing simple English phrases such as “Please” and “Thank you.” It was a wonderful opportunity to interact with older children and use English naturally through meaningful communication.

午後は、キンダークラスのお友だちが準備してくれた夏祭りへ遊びに行きました。

りんご飴やかき氷、チョコバナナ、おさかな釣り、ヨーヨー釣りなどのお店を回り、チケットを渡しながら「Please」「Thank you」といった簡単な英語でやり取りを楽しみました。

異年齢のお友だちとの交流を通して、楽しみながら自然に英語を使う貴重な経験となりました。
