Today, our Pre Class (2 year olds) enjoyed a wonderful strawberry picking adventure! The children had been eagerly looking forward to this special day, and their excitement was clear as soon as we arrived at the strawberry house.

本日、Pre Class（2歳児）はいちご狩りを楽しみました！子どもたちはこの日をとても楽しみにしており、いちごハウスに到着した瞬間からワクワクした様子が伝わってきました。

After a simple demonstration on how to choose a bright red strawberry and gently twist it to harvest, the children eagerly tried for themselves. Once they picked their first strawberry, their confidence grew and the biggest smiles appeared when they tasted the sweet fruit they had harvested on their own. Many happily told their teachers, “Yummy!” and “Sweet!” as they proudly pointed out the next strawberry they wanted to pick.

真っ赤ないちごの見分け方や、やさしくひねって収穫する方法を教えていただいた後、子どもたちはさっそく挑戦しました。初めて自分でいちごを摘むことができると自信につながり、自分で収穫した甘いいちごを口にした瞬間、最高の笑顔が広がりました。「Yammy！」「Sweet！」と嬉しそうに話しながら、次に取りたいいちごを誇らしげに指さしていました。

The children also explored different stages of strawberry growth. When they saw the small flowers, they sweetly called them “strawberry babies,” which was such a heartwarming moment. They even had the chance to see and taste white strawberries, discovering something new through hands-on learning.

また、いちごの成長過程にも触れ、小さなお花を見つけると「いちごの赤ちゃん！Baby！」と可愛らしく話してくれれ、その姿がとても微笑ましかったです。さらに、白いいちごも見たり味わったりすることができ、実体験を通して新しい発見を楽しみました。

It was a joyful and meaningful experience that supported independence, curiosity, and sensory exploration. We are so proud of our Pre Class and love providing these special opportunities that make learning come alive—even at two years old! 

今回の活動は、子どもたちの自立心や好奇心、そして五感を育む、楽しく意義のある体験となりました。2歳児という年齢でも、このような本物の体験を通して学びを深められることを私たちは大切にしています。Pre Classのみんなの成長をとても誇りに思います！
