Visiting Our Sister School | 姉妹校Mitaキャンパスを訪問

We recently visited our sister school, Beyondia International School Mita.

Mita Campus opened in October 2025 as the fourth Beyondia school. During our visit, we had the opportunity to observe the children’s daily activities and experience the warm, energetic atmosphere of the school.

先日、姉妹校であるBeyondia International School Mitaを訪問しました。

Mitaキャンパスは、Beyondiaの4園目のスクールとして2025年10月に開園しました。今回の訪問では、子どもたちが過ごす様子や、スクール全体の明るく活気ある雰囲気を実際に見ることができました。

Active Play Even on Rainy Days | 雨の日も思いきり体を動かす

One of the first things that caught our attention was the large indoor play area, complete with a climbing wall and slide.

Although it was raining outside, the children were able to run, climb, and play actively indoors. They became completely absorbed in their play and worked up quite a sweat.

We were especially impressed by how confidently they climbed and how strongly they held on. Through active play, the children were naturally developing their balance, coordination, and physical strength.

まず目に入ったのは、ボルダリングや滑り台が設置された大きな室内アスレチックです。

訪問した日は雨でしたが、子どもたちは室内で走ったり、登ったりしながら、汗をかくほど元気いっぱいに体を動かしていました。

しっかりとつかまり、自信を持ってぐんぐん登っていく姿も印象的でした。遊びを楽しみながら、バランス感覚や体の使い方、つかまる力などが自然と育まれていることが伝わってきました。

English and Inquiry in Everyday Learning | 英語と探究が広がる毎日

Throughout the school, we heard children happily communicating in English with their friends and teachers.

It was wonderful to see them using English naturally while playing, learning, and enjoying their daily routines together.

Mita Campus has also begun working toward International Baccalaureate authorization. Inquiry-based learning is incorporated into everyday experiences, encouraging children to explore their questions and develop their curiosity.

The teachers were bright, friendly, and full of energy, creating a lively and positive environment in which the children could express themselves confidently.

園内では、子どもたちの楽しそうな英語がたくさん飛び交っていました。

お友だちや先生と英語でコミュニケーションを取りながら、遊びや活動をのびのびと楽しむ姿が印象的でした。

Mitaキャンパスでは、国際バカロレア（IB）の認定に向けた取り組みもスタートしています。日々の保育の中で、子どもたちの「なぜ？」「もっと知りたい」という気持ちを大切にした探究的な学びが行われています。

先生たちも明るく、楽しく、元気いっぱいです。子どもたちが安心して自分らしさを発揮できる、活気にあふれたスクールでした。
