Halloween Crafting in Kashiwanoha | 柏の葉で楽しむハロウィン工作

On October 25, Beyondia International School Kashiwanoha joined the “Rara-chan Randoseru Happy Festa” at the Kashiwa-no-ha Conference Center.

At our booth, children created their own Halloween magic wands. With different shapes, colours and materials to choose from, each child could bring their own ideas to the activity.

10月25日、Beyondia International School Kashiwanohaは、柏の葉カンファレンスセンターで開催された「ららちゃんランドセル ハッピーフェスタ」に参加しました。

本園のブースでは、ハロウィンの魔法の杖づくりを楽しんでいただきました。形や色、材料を選びながら、一人ひとりのアイデアを表現できる工作です。

Pumpkin or Ghost? | かぼちゃとおばけ、どちらにしよう？

Children could choose between a pumpkin-shaped wand and a ghost-shaped wand.

Pumpkins were especially popular with two- and three-year-olds, while many older children chose ghosts. It was interesting to see the different preferences children brought to the same activity.

魔法の杖の形は、かぼちゃとおばけの2種類から選べるようにしました。

2〜3歳のお子さまにはかぼちゃが人気で、年齢が上のお子さまにはおばけがよく選ばれていました。同じ工作でも、それぞれの好みが表れる様子が印象的でした。

Choosing Colours and Materials | 好きな色や材料で自分らしく

Children enjoyed sticking colourful cellophane onto their wands and talking about their favourite colours.

Their choices extended beyond the shape. They also selected a ribbon colour and a patterned straw for the handle, creating their own combinations.

These small decisions give children opportunities to express their preferences. At Beyondia, we value activities that allow children to make choices and explore their own ideas.

子どもたちは、カラフルなセロハンを貼りながら、好きな色について話してくれました。

形だけでなく、リボンの色や持ち手に使うストローの柄も自分で選び、それぞれの組み合わせを楽しんでいました。

こうした小さな選択も、自分の思いや好みを表現する大切な機会です。本園では、子どもたちが自分で選び、アイデアを試せる活動を大切にしています。
