Learning About Autumn Through Books and Songs | 絵本や歌を通して秋を知る

This month, our Nursery and Pre Class children are exploring the season of autumn through a variety of activities.

We use autumn-themed picture books and songs to introduce the children to seasonal words, colors, and things they may see around them during this time of year.

Through these familiar and enjoyable activities, the children are gradually developing an interest in the changes that come with autumn and learning to notice the season in their everyday lives.

今月、N/Pクラスでは、さまざまな活動を通して「秋」についての学びを深めています。

秋にちなんだ絵本を読んだり、季節の歌を楽しんだりしながら、秋ならではの言葉や色、身近に見られるものについて触れています。

子どもたちにとって身近な絵本や歌を取り入れることで、楽しみながら少しずつ秋への興味を広げ、日々の生活の中にある季節の変化にも目を向けられるようにしています。

Exploring Leaves With Our Five Senses | 葉っぱを五感で観察する

During our walks, the children enjoy looking for leaves and observing them closely.

We encourage them to notice different colors, sizes, textures, and sounds. They can touch the leaves, look carefully at their shapes and colors, and listen to the sounds they make when they move or step on them.

These simple experiences give the children opportunities to explore nature with their own hands and senses while discovering that even leaves can be different from one another.

お散歩では、葉っぱを見つけて、じっくりと観察する活動も楽しんでいます。

「何色かな？」「大きいかな、小さいかな？」「どんな感触かな？」「どんな音がするかな？」など、色や大きさ、感触、音に注目しながら、実際に見たり、触ったり、音を聞いたりしています。

身近な自然に直接触れることで、葉っぱにもさまざまな違いがあることを知り、子どもたちなりの気づきや発見を楽しんでいます。

Exploring the Colors of Autumn Through Art | 制作を通して秋の色に触れる

Art activities are another way for the children to explore autumn.

We introduce colors commonly associated with the season, such as red, orange, yellow, and brown, and give the children opportunities to experience and use these colors in their artwork.

Rather than focusing only on the finished product, we value the process of exploring colors and expressing their own ideas.

制作活動では、秋を感じる色にも触れています。

赤、オレンジ、黄色、茶色など、秋の自然の中で見つけられる色を取り入れながら、子どもたちはそれぞれの方法で色を楽しみ、表現しています。

完成した作品だけではなく、色に触れたり、組み合わせたりしながら、自分なりに表現する過程を大切にしています。

Discovering the Beauty of Autumn | 身近な秋から広がる学び

Through picture books, songs, nature walks, and art activities, the children are learning about autumn in many different ways.

By seeing, touching, listening, and creating, they are building their understanding of the season through real experiences.
