Beyondia International School Kashiwanoha offers two ways for families to learn more about our school: our weekend group information sessions and weekday individual visits. For families who join either a visit or an information session, we also offer a free trial experience for their child.

Today, we welcomed families to a group trial lesson, giving both children and parents an opportunity to experience a little of what everyday life at Beyondia feels like.

今回はグループでのトライアルレッスンを開催し、お子さまと保護者の皆さまに、Beyondiaで過ごす一日の雰囲気を実際に感じていただきました。

Starting at Their Own Pace | 自分のペースで始める

Before joining the group activities, the children had time for free play. At Beyondia International School, we believe that giving children time to settle into a new environment helps them feel comfortable and ready to participate. Some children stayed close to their parents at first, while others began exploring the classroom and getting to know the teachers.

活動を始める前には、まず自由遊びの時間を設けました。初めて訪れる場所では、すぐに活動へ入るのではなく、子どもたちが周りの環境を見たり、好きな遊びに触れたりしながら、少しずつ安心して過ごせるようになることが大切だと私たちは考えています。最初は保護者の方のそばで過ごしていたお子さまも、次第に教室を見て回ったり、先生と関わったりしながら、それぞれのペースで新しい環境に慣れていきました。

A Glimpse into Everyday Learning | Beyondiaの日常を体験

During the trial, families experienced some of the activities that are part of our everyday routine, from morning circle to learning activities and PE play. We started with our Hello Song and Weather Board, where the children could actively participate by placing cards on the board, followed by a Jolly Phonics song with egg shakers. After a short story, the children explored our classroom animal theme through a sheep craft before moving into active PE play with balls, tunnels, jumping, and balancing.

今回のトライアルでは、朝のサークルタイムからクラフト、そして身体を動かすPEまで、普段の保育の中で行っている活動をいくつか体験していただきました。Hello SongやWeather Boardでは、カードを貼りながら楽しく参加し、エッグシェイカーを使ったJolly Phonicsの歌では、音楽に合わせて身体を動かしながら楽しむ姿が見られました。その後は短いお話を楽しみ、羊のクラフトに取り組んだり、ボールやトンネル、ジャンプ、バランス遊びなどを通して、元気いっぱい身体を動かしました。

At Beyondia, we believe that children learn through play and meaningful experiences. Songs, stories, hands-on activities, and movement give children opportunities to listen, communicate, make choices, try something new, and enjoy learning through their own experiences.

Beyondiaでは、子どもたちが実際に「やってみる」経験の中に、たくさんの学びがあると考えています。歌や絵本を楽しんだり、手を動かしてクラフトを作ったり、身体を動かして新しいことに挑戦したりする中で、子どもたちは楽しみながら自然にさまざまなことを経験していきます。

Parents also joined the experience by singing along, cheering, and enjoying the activities together with their children. For families, this was more than simply watching a lesson — it was an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of our classroom and see how teachers support children throughout the day.

保護者の皆さまも一緒に歌ったり、応援したりしながら、お子さまと楽しい時間を過ごしてくださいました。実際に活動へ参加していただくことで、教室の雰囲気を感じるだけでなく、先生が子どもたちにどのように声をかけ、寄り添いながら活動を進めているのかも体験していただけたことと思います。

A Happy First Step | はじめの一歩

By the end of the trial, some children who had initially been shy were smiling, running around the classroom, and happily interacting with the teachers. Seeing them gradually become more comfortable and engaged was a wonderful part of the morning.

最初は少し緊張していたお子さまたちも、時間が経つにつれて笑顔が増え、最後には教室を元気に走ったり、先生と楽しそうに関わったりする姿が見られました。少しずつ緊張がほぐれ、楽しそうに過ごす姿を見ることができたのは、私たちにとっても嬉しい時間となりました。

A trial lesson is a chance for children to experience a new environment, meet their teachers, hear English naturally, and participate in activities at their own pace. For parents, it is an opportunity to see the classroom, experience our daily routines, and get a real feeling for what life at Beyondia is like.

トライアルレッスンは、お子さまにとって新しい環境や先生と出会い、自然な英語に触れながら、自分のペースで活動を楽しむ最初の一歩です。そして保護者の皆さまにとっても、実際の教室の雰囲気や先生との関わり、日々の活動を体験しながら、Beyondiaでの生活をより身近に感じていただける機会です。
