Bringing the Beach into Our School | 園内に広がる夏のビーチ

Last week, Beyondia International School Kashiwanoha was transformed into a cheerful summer beach for our “Let’s Go to the Beach Day.”　The children arrived in their colorful beach-themed outfits, ready for a day filled with sensory play, crafts, movement, and imagination.

Our Nursery and Pre class children began by posing for photographs at the beach-themed photo booth. It was lovely to see their smiles as they showed us their favorite poses in front of the tropical backdrop.

先週、Beyondia International School Kashiwanohaでは、「Let’s Go to the Beach Day」を開催し、園内が楽しい夏のビーチに変身しました。子どもたちは色とりどりのビーチスタイルで登園し、感触遊びや制作、運動遊び、ごっこ遊びなど、夏らしい活動を楽しみました。

NurseryとPre-Kinderクラスでは、ビーチをイメージしたフォトブースで写真撮影を行いました。南国風の背景の前でお気に入りのポーズを見せる子どもたちの笑顔が、とても印象的でした。

Discovering Through Beach-Themed Play | ビーチ遊びを通した発見

On the Kinder side, the children explored several beach-themed stations. At the sand-play station, they moulded kinetic sand into fish, shells, and parts of a sandcastle.

Colorful jelly invited the children to touch, cut, shape, and explore different textures. They were able to follow their curiosity and enjoy the materials in their own ways.

The children also traced their shoes onto colorful construction paper to create their own sandals. After cutting out the shapes, they added stickers and paper straps to complete their original designs.

At another station, they filled jars with blue-coloured water and added different sea animals. Each child created a small ocean world to take home.

In the Piano Room, the children enjoyed throwing, kicking, and chasing beach balls in small groups. The room was filled with energy and laughter as they moved their bodies and played alongside their friends.

Kinderクラスでは、ビーチをテーマにしたさまざまなステーションを楽しみました。砂遊びのコーナーでは、キネティックサンドを使って、魚や貝殻、砂のお城のパーツを作りました。

カラフルなゼリーの感触遊びでは、触ったり、切ったり、形を変えたりしながら、さまざまな感触を楽しみました。子どもたちは好奇心のままに、それぞれの方法で素材を探究していました。

サンダル制作では、自分の靴を色画用紙にかたどって切り、シールや紙のストラップを付けました。一人ひとりのアイデアが詰まった、素敵なオリジナルサンダルが完成しました。

また、青く色付けした水と海の生き物を瓶に入れ、小さな海の世界も作りました。好きな生き物を選びながら、それぞれの海を表現することを楽しみました。

ピアノルームでは、少人数のグループでビーチボール遊びを行いました。ボールを投げたり、蹴ったり、追いかけたりしながら、元気いっぱいに体を動かしました。

Colorful Sea Animal Crafts | 海の生き物をテーマにした制作

In the afternoon, the Nursery children made sea turtles. They attached a circular head and four legs using stickers before carefully colouring the turtle’s shell.

The Pre class kids created cheerful red octopuses using circles and long strips of paper. They added white circle stickers to represent the suckers and drew eyes and smiling mouths with black crayons.

The children also decorated sea-animal craft sheets with colorful stickers. They remained focused as they carefully chose and placed each piece.

These hands-on experiences allowed the children to enjoy making their own choices while strengthening their concentration, hand-eye coordination, and creativity.

午後には、海の生き物をテーマにした制作を楽しみました。Nurseryクラスでは、丸い頭と4本の足をシールで貼り合わせ、カメの甲羅を丁寧に色付けしました。

Pre-Kinderクラスでは、赤い丸と長い紙を組み合わせて、かわいらしいタコを作りました。足には白い丸シールを貼って吸盤を表現し、黒いクレヨンで目と笑顔を描きました。

海の生き物が描かれた台紙にも、カラフルなシールを貼って飾りました。どの色を使うか、どこに貼るかを自分で考えながら、一つひとつ丁寧に取り組んでいました。

手を使った制作を楽しみながら、自分で選ぶ経験を重ね、集中力や手と目の協応、創造力を育む時間となりました。

Walking the Beach Fashion Show | 笑顔いっぱいのビーチファッションショー

After snack time, the Kinder children gathered for a beach fashion show.

One by one, they walked along the catwalk and proudly presented their wonderful summer outfits. Some children walked confidently, while others enjoyed showing their special poses to their friends and teachers.

The warm encouragement from everyone helped make the fashion show a joyful and memorable part of the day. It was wonderful to see the children expressing themselves and enjoying their moment on the catwalk.

Through this special summer event, the children enjoyed exploring new materials, moving their bodies, creating freely, and sharing happy moments with their friends.

おやつの後、Kinderクラスではビーチファッションショーを行いました。

子どもたちは一人ずつランウェイを歩き、自慢の夏の衣装を披露しました。自信を持って歩く姿や、お友だちや先生にお気に入りのポーズを見せる姿が見られました。

みんなから温かい声援を受け、ファッションショーは笑顔あふれる思い出深い時間となりました。ランウェイで自分らしく表現し、その瞬間を楽しむ子どもたちの姿がとても素敵でした。

今回の夏のイベントを通して、子どもたちは新しい素材に触れ、体を動かし、自由に表現しながら、お友だちと楽しい時間を共有することができました。
