Preparing for Every Emergency: Monthly Safety Drills at Beyondia

Beyondia International Schoolでは、子どもたちが安心して学び、遊び、成長できる環境づくりを大切にしています。その取り組みの一つとして、毎月さまざまな想定で避難訓練を実施しています。

At Beyondia International School, creating a safe and secure environment is one of our highest priorities. As part of this commitment, we conduct monthly emergency drills to help children learn how to respond safely in different situations.

避難訓練では、地震・津波・火災・不審者侵入など、さまざまな災害や緊急時を想定しています。毎月異なるテーマで訓練を行うことで、子どもたちも職員も「もしも」の時に落ち着いて行動できるよう備えています。

Each month, we practice different emergency scenarios, including earthquakes, tsunamis, fires, and intruder emergencies. By experiencing a variety of situations, both children and staff become more prepared to respond calmly and safely when it matters most.

避難訓練は、子どもたちを怖がらせるためのものではありません。先生のお話をよく聞くこと、先生のそばに集まること、落ち着いて行動することなど、大切な命を守るために必要な行動を、年齢に合わせて少しずつ学んでいます。

Our emergency drills are never meant to frighten children. Instead, they help children develop essential safety habits, such as listening carefully to their teachers, staying together, and remaining calm during an emergency. These skills are built gradually through regular practice.

Beyondiaでは、子どもたちだけでなく職員も毎回避難経路や役割分担を確認し、安全管理の向上に努めています。子どもたち一人ひとりの大切な命を守るために、これからも安心・安全な環境づくりを続けてまいります。

Our staff also reviews evacuation routes, emergency procedures, and individual responsibilities during every drill. At Beyondia, we are committed to creating a safe environment where every child can learn, play, and grow with confidence.
